After receiving his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, A.D. Shrum worked six years at General Electric before choosing to stay home with his four boys in Anderson, South Carolina. During this time he rediscovered his love of storytelling and the Forsaken Worlds project was born. Additionally, he has been a columnist at AlmostAnAuthor.com and has contributed to a devotional published with CrossRiverMedia called Abba’s Promise.
His loving wife, Dr. Kara Shrum, gives valuable insight on his projects. She also provides a worthy opponent in all of the board games A.D. Shrum plays, from X-Wing Miniatures to Love Letter, and everything in between.
